I am pleased with the phone, but had to have help from Panasonic to get it to work. I thought it was a bad one and was initially disappointed with my purchase.
They have performed flawlessly, with great sound quality, good range and all the features you really need. I have had two of these phones for a couple of years. They have survived my family of six which included four boys. What better recommendation is there than THAT.Really- good basic phone of great quality.
Panasonic just screwed up.Otherwise, a really good product: good range, nice design, easy to use. There is no audible alert option for new messages, so if you come home you had better notice the little blinking red light. That said, there are two features missing that boggle my mind that Panasonic missed them:1. There is no ringer volume control. Both of these are pretty basic features. I just added a fourth handset (maximum) to this system. I've been using it for well over a year now and am pretty well satisfied. I never do.2.
trying to find info about replacement under warranty has not been the easiest. I can barely hear it with any background noise. The bad thing about it is that the speaker phone volume simply isn't loud enough. I have had these for about 9 months now and one handset will not charge anymore. I really love the range on this phone. I can walk 100 yards down the street and it still gets great reception. Also, lighted buttons would have been great.
We have a base station and three additional handsets. Excellent product. They work very well.
